History
Yryllyn was only a young Half-Elf when his Elven father abandoned him and returned to the forest. Yryllyn was saddened and filled with a sense of abandonment for many years. In an effort to reconnect with his father he learned the ways of a Ranger and roamed the forests. However, this was not enough to gain his father's respect or be admitted into the Elven forests and cities so Yryllyn turned to war instead. He learned the way of the Barbarian and perfected his way of the warrior, taking his cues from his Human half.
Yryllyn grew to be more mature after his days of being a Barbarian and learned the ways of a Priest and then a Bard. At this point in his life he was bewitched by an evil nymph woman. She cast powerful charm spells on him that fogged his life and made him unable to see the truth. For years he wandered as if in a darkened tunnel trying only to seek friendship and wonder at his life. However after many years the nymph's power had weakened and once he saw her evil spells of control on him he broke them all and banished her into an alternate world. Though it was a painful break for him and his heart ached from the years he had lost, as well as making him question those he has seen as truly his friend, he was able to see clearly the path before him.
Unshackled, ambitious and ever the gentleman Yryllyn found friends in both the Kindred and Northstar clans, many who are his friends to this day. Though he was abused by both men and women of many walks of life and discovered many a false friend he still has a wonderful and generous heart that helps him to unselfishly help his comrades. His friends he still holds dear and he keeps a wary but curious eye on the kind and beautiful women he meets along the way.

A friend of yours is full geared by a mob leaving behind valuable equipment, including two ST rings. There are Outlaws about. You have no way of trunking or lockering your gear in time before searching for his body. Your equipment is not the best, certainly no great prize, but difficult to replace. Do you risk CPK to help your friend?
I would educate said player beforehand to prevent just such an incident (cf. pet peeves).

Something is not right here. This object appears to be in a state of
flux. Most of the time it looks very much like Yryllyn, but occasionally it
wavers, becomes partially translucent, loses its shape and color; streaks of
energy are observed darting over, around, and through the object. Whatever
the magic holding this object in existence may be, clearly the object's
current grip on existence seems transitory.
