History
I grew up in a remote village on Auryn, but felt the wanderlust come upon me at an early age. In the first flush of freedom away from home, I wanted to learn the martial skills that would make me a strong and mighty warrior. After learning and mastering many forms of combat, I turned to the study of nature and the powers that reside in the elements. Attaining much knowledge in this area, and feeling more balanced, I felt the need for contemplation and for learning the curative arts so that I could restore order and harmony to the bodies and souls of those I might meet and venture forth with. Having seen something of the world and having gained a fair bit of experience, I vacillated between learning the furtive arts of cutpurses and assassins, or the mystical skills of the Pythagoreans and musicians. I finally chose to study the arcanum of scale and tone, pitch and key, which but dimly reflects the eternal song of the heavenly crystal spheres. Along the way, I made and lost some boon companions, but eventually found a company of adventurers that shares most of the same values that I hold dear. These fair folk make up the clan called Northstar.

A friend of yours is full geared by a mob leaving behind valuable equipment, including two ST rings. There are Outlaws about. You have no way of trunking or lockering your gear in time before searching for his body. Your equipment is not the best, certainly no great prize, but difficult to replace. Do you risk CPK to help your friend?
It would really depend on the circumstances. As a general rule, I?€™m willing to help someone as much as I think I can. But I also wouldn't rush blindly into CPK with outlaws around just because my friend dropped some valuable gear. If I thought I could go in and actually recover my friend's gear without getting CPKed myself in the process and compounding the problem by possibly dropping my own hard-to-replace gear, then I would do my best to help.

Although it's hard to tell exactly what this well-worn item is for, or even what it is, it looks refined and tasteful, albeit inexplicably hairy. It also looks completely innocuous, even slightly ridiculous. Yet it seems to emanate a subtle energy that is more than a bit disconcerting. Nevertheless, it might look nice in the right setting, if one could just figure out whether to accentuate the shiny parts or the fuzzy parts.
